Course

The Lude springs northwest of Stolberg, about a kilometer west of Breitenstein. Only about 400 meters from the southern arms of the Katzsohlbachs source from the sources of Lude and about 600 meters from the source of delusion Borns. The Riesch ditch led from 1745 to 1910 water from the Lude and Narrow Lude in the Lower Harz Pond and grave system, where it was dammed with the Ludewasser Möller pond. At the foot of Lindischberg ( orographic right) and Kießlingskopf ( orographic left ) opens the clip in the upper water Lude. Just 500 meters downstream ends of the bright stream a right side. Only 500 meters downstream of the Lude has a further right-sided inflow. The creek is significantly longer than the Bright Stream, has a much larger catchment area, private inflows and is accumulated in the lower reaches. The name of the stream is not known.

Through the confluence of three mountain streams Lude, Small and Large Wilde Wilde ( in the upper reaches: Narrow Lude ) arises in the old town of Stolberg Thyra. This then continues through Stolberg in the south.
