Gubat is a Philippine municipality in the province of Sorsogon. It has 57 327 inhabitants ( census May 1, 2010 ) living in 51 barangays. Gubat is a second- class income of the municipalities in the Philippines. It lies about 17 km east of the provincial capital of Sorsogon City, at the San Bernardino Strait. Your neighboring municipalities are Sorsogon City and Casiguran in the west, in the south of Barcelona, Prieto Diaz in the north.
