Matnog, Sorsogon

Matnog is a Philippine municipality in the province of Sorsogon. It has 37 641 inhabitants ( census May 1, 2010 ) living in 40 barangays. Matnog is the third income class municipalities in the Philippines. It is located about 48 km south of the provincial capital of Sorsogon City at the San Bernardino Strait. Your neighboring municipalities are Bulan in the northwest, Irosin in the north and Santa Magdalena in the Northeast.

Matnog is a major ferry port for the traffic on the neighboring island of Samar and on the Maharlika Highway.
