Güçlükonak

Güçlükonak (Kurdish: Base, formerly known as Haraniferho ) is a Turkish district town in the province of Şırnak Province in Southeastern Anatolia. The town has 3,108 inhabitants and the county 12,034 (as of 2011 ). Güçlükonak is in the northwest of the province and borders the provinces of Siirt and Mardin. Since 1990 Güçlükonak is a district of the province of Şırnak. Before that, it was one of Siirt. The Turkish name Güçlükonak means roughly Stark [ fixed ] hostel.
