Gustav Möller

Frits Gustav Möller ( born June 6 1884 in Malmö, † August 15 1970 in Bromma ) was a Swedish politician and leading member of the Swedish Social Democratic Party.

Career in politics

Möller coined the Swedish policy mainly through its long-standing duties as Minister of Social Affairs. He was a member of the Swedish Parliament from 1918-1954 and Minister for Social Affairs in the years 1924-1926, 1932-1936, 1936-1938 and 1939-1951, and Minister of Trade from 1938 to 1939. In addition, he was party secretary of the Swedish Social Democratic Party from 1916 to 1940.

Private

In 1926 he married Else Kleen. His parents were Ola († 1884) and Anna Möller ( † 1898).
