Guy-Marie Bagnard

Guy- Marie Claude Bagnard ( born April 14, 1937 in Montceau -les -Mines ) is retired Bishop of Belley - Ars.

Life

Guy Bagnard received on 29 June 1965, the ordination. John Paul II appointed him on 8 July 1987 the Bishop of Belley.

The Archbishop of Lyon, Albert Florent Augustin Cardinal Decourtray, donated it on 4 October of the same year, the episcopal ordination; Co-consecrators were Robert -Joseph Coffy, Archbishop of Marseille, and Louis Pierre Joseph Cornet, Bishop of Meaux.

His motto is Ut unum sint. On June 15, 2012, Pope Benedict XVI. its age-related resignation.
