Guylaine Dumont

Guylaine Dumont ( born September 10, 1967 in Saint -Antoine -de- Tilly, Quebec ) is a former Canadian volleyball and beach volleyball player.

Career Hall

Guylaine Dumont played from 1985 to 1991 in the Canadian National Team between 1990 and 1997 in the professional leagues in Italy and Japan.

Career Beach

Guylaine Dumont played in the late 1990s internationally with various partners, but never got beyond the eighth place of a tournament.

Successful played Guylaine Dumont since 2002 with Annie Martin. In 2003, the Canadians at the Fifth Lianyungang Open. At the World Championships in Rio de Janeiro, they won their preliminary round group and the first knockout game against their compatriots Boileau / Morin, before the U.S. women McPeak / Youngs defeated in the second round. In the Olympic tournament in 2004 she was second in the group behind McPeak / Youngs and reached with a win against the Cubans Larrea Peraza / Fernandez Grasset the quarter-finals where they were beaten in the U.S. later gold medalists Kerri Walsh and Misty May- Treanor. After the tournament, they parted ways.
