Holly McPeak

Holly McPeak ( born May 15, 1969 in Hollywood, Los Angeles, California ) is a former American beach volleyball player.

Career

Holly McPeak was in her 20 -year career, despite their relatively small size, one of the most successful beach volleyball player of all time. As a 18 -year-old in 1987, she played her first tournament in Santa Monica. In 1996, she finished with Nancy Reno at the Olympic Games in Atlanta in fifth place. In 1997 she won with Lisa Arce the silver medal at the World Championships in Los Angeles. In her second participation in the Olympic Games she won in Sydney in 2000 with Misty May- Treanor again in fifth place. With Elaine Youngs she finished fifth at the World Championships in Rio de Janeiro and the highlight of her career 2004 2003 the bronze medal at her third Olympic Games in Athens. In 2007, she ended her career after 72 tournament victories, including 19 FIVB titles and 53 national titles.

2009 Holly McPeak was included in the "Volleyball Hall of Fame".
