Lisa Arce

Lisa Arce ( born July 8, 1969 in Manhattan Beach ) is a former American beach volleyball player.

Career

Arce came to the University of California, Berkeley for volleyball. 1994 to 1996 she played her first international beach tournaments with Christine Schaefer. They then formed a new duo with Holly McPeak. Arce / McPeak won twice in Busan and won the Open tournament in Pescara. At the World Cup 1997 in Los Angeles, they were subject only in the ending the Brazilians Sandra Pires and Jackie Silva. Less successful was the next World Cup tournament in Marseille, the Arce finished with their new partner Barbra Fontana in 17th place. There was also a third place in Dalian in 1999 and a second place in Espinho 2000.

The next year, Arce played again with McPeak. The reunited duo was in several open tournaments and fifth in the Grand Slam in Marseille third parties. At the World Championships in Klagenfurt, however, it gave back only to the 17th rank. In 2003, Arce with Rachel Wacholder at three Grand Slams each in the top ten.
