Gyda Enger

Gyda Enger (born 14 January 1993 at Herne ) is a Norwegian ski jumper.

Career

In their first season, 2005/ 06 in the Continental she reached in Våler the 19th Place, achieved overall in the 51st place. Enger has improved in the season 2006/ 07 in the overall standings by seven places. 2007/ 08 she secured her best result of the day in Dobbiaco and width Mountain eighth place. At the Junior World Championships 2007 in Tarvisio she jumped in individual ranked 17, 2008 in Zakopane, ranked 23 In the Norwegian Junior Championships 2007 Rena she won gold in the normal hill. In its third Junior World Championships 2010 in Hinterzarten they finished 14th place. Then she took part in the Junior World Championships 2011 in Otepaeae and at the Junior World Championships 2012 in Erzurum and at the Junior World Championships 2013 in Liberec, but could neither team enter a podium finish in singles. Also in the Nordic World Ski Championships 2011 in Oslo they did not progress beyond the 26th place.

Since December 3, 2011 Gyda Enger denies World Cup Jumping, her best placement is the 25th place at the competition in Oslo at Holmenkollen on March 17, 2013.

In February 2014, it was named after the injury- induced failure of the Canadian Alexandra Pretorius and the waiver of any subsequent nomination by the Canadian Olympic Committee and the Incoming Austrian Olympic Committee by the Norwegian Association for the Olympic Winter Games set.
