Haidong

Haidong (Chinese海东 市/海东 市, pinyin Hǎidōng Shì ) is a located in the eastern Chinese province of Qinghai prefecture-level city. The city government has its seat in the district Ledu. Haidong has an area of ​​13,161 km ² and approximately 1.48 million inhabitants ( 2004). In the north, bordering the city of the Autonomous District Haibei the Tibetans, to the east and south with the province of Gansu, on the southwest by the Autonomous District Huangnan the Tibetans and to the west by the Autonomous County, Hainan Tibetan and the prefecture-level city of Xining.
