Hail to the Thief is the sixth studio album by British alternative band Radiohead. It was released in June 2003 and won the first place in the UK album charts. In Germany and Switzerland, each reached No. 3 in Austria Place 6 The follow-up album was released on 10 October 2007.

Description

The title of the album is considered due to its allegory to " Hail to the Chief " as an allusion to the U.S. President George W. Bush and his narrow election victory in 2000. This pointed the band in interviews but as an interpretive reduction of salary statement back.
