Hal Cole
Harold " Hal " Cole ( born November 20, 1912 in Tacoma, Washington, USA, † November 12, 1970 in Los Angeles, California, USA) was an American race car driver.
Cole started 19456-1951 in 8 races of the AAA National series, with a fifth place on the route of DeQuoin his best result was in 1948.
He tried to qualify four times for the 500- mile race from Indianapolis 1946-1950. Three attempts access, 1946, he was on the fourth starting position, in 1950, he had an accident in qualifying, so that he could not qualify for the race. His best race result he succeeded in 1948 with a 6th place in 1947 his vehicle was withdrawn. He also drove numerous NASCAR and Sprintcar racing.
He died shortly before his 58th birthday, of a heart attack.
