Handel Music Prize

Award

Proposals and election of the winner is based on the statutes of the Handel House Foundation: " The Foundation has the following tasks:. Research and presentation of the life, work and reception of Georg Friedrich Handel in the context of regional and European music history and the dissemination of his oeuvre " About the award winners, the Board of Trustees decides Handel House. This is discussed by the Advisory Board of the Foundation. Self-nominations for this award are excluded. The award winners receive a gold-plated lapel pin, showing some note motifs from the Handel oratorio Messiah.
