Hannelore Rönsch

Hannelore Rönsch born Heinz ( born December 12, 1942 in Wiesbaden- Schierstein ) is a German politician ( CDU).

She was from 1991 to 1994 Federal Minister for Family and seniors.

Life and career

Post-high school Hannelore Rönsch attended until 1960 the Commercial College and was then until 1962 at the Federal act. From 1962 to 1983 she was then hired as a consultant for tenants of non-profit housing association Nassauische homestead.

Hannelore Rönsch is widowed and has a daughter.

Party

Since 1963 she is a member of the CDU. Since 1988 she was a member of the Executive Committee of the CDU in Hesse.

Member of Parliament

From 1974 to 1980 she was councilor of the city of Wiesbaden. Here she was from 1980 to 1983 and honorary councilor.

From 1983 to 2002 she was a member of the German Bundestag. Here she was from November 1994 to February 2002 Deputy Chairman of the CDU / CSU parliamentary group.

She was last (14th legislature 1998) collected over the national list Hesse in the German Bundestag.

Public offices

After the parliamentary election in 1990, she was appointed on 18 January 1991 as the Federal Minister for Family and seniors led by Chancellor Helmut Kohl Federal Government. After the parliamentary election in 1994, she divorced on 17 November 1994 from the Cabinet again, because, run by her department went up in the new Federal Ministry for Family Affairs, Senior Citizens, Women and Youth.
