Hans Rohde

Hans " Bubi " Rohde ( born December 7, 1914 in Hamburg, † 3 December 1979 ) was a German football player and coach. From 1922 to 1951 he spent his entire playing career with his hometown club Eimsbütteler TV. He won with the Red and Whites in the Gauliga Nordmark three times in a row from 1934 to 1936 and additionally in the years 1940 and 1942 the championship. From 1936 to 1942 he studied in the National Football Team 25 internationals. With the Nordmark selection, he won the 1938 Reichsbund Cup.

Career

Club until 1951

The mostly used in defense ( as a center half or " stopper " ) long-distance runner was rightfully his nickname " The Iron ". He was almost the epitome of consistent coverage work.
