Harry Baer

Harry Baer ( born September 27, 1947 in Biberach an der Riss) is a German actor, producer and author.

Life

His film career began in 1969 on the side of Rainer Werner Fassbinder, in whose films he participated before and behind the camera and he remained closely connected until his death. His first film was Katzelmacher by Rainer Werner Fassbinder, this changed uncredited also the name of Harry Zöttl in Harry Baer. What Baer visibly upset and he was therefore offered by Fassbinder for his next film Gods of the Plague the lead role and this also accepted.

He was the main and supporting actor in numerous feature and television films (including crime scene ) and worked with renowned directors such as Doris Dorrie, Mika Kaurismäki and Bernhard Sinkel.
