Harry Broos

Harry Broos (actually Henricus Adrianus Broos, born May 25, 1898 in Roosendaal, † July 16, 1954 in Eindhoven ) was a Dutch sprinter.

At the Olympic Games in Paris in 1924, he won the Dutch team bronze in the 4 x 100 - meter relay. About 100 m and 200 m he reached the quarter -finals.

In 1928 he arrived at the Olympic Games in Amsterdam in the 400m semi-finals and more than 200 m to the quarterfinals. In the 4 x 100 - meter relay team he left in the flow.

Five times he was national champion over 100 m (1921, 1923, 1924, 1925, 1928), three times each over 200 m (1922, 1923, 1924) and 400 m (1927, 1928, 1929 ) and once in the long jump ( 1921).
