Harry Parker (tennis)

Alabaster Harry Parker ( born May 6, 1873 in Christchurch, † May 14, 1961 in Sydney) was a New Zealand tennis player.

Career

Parker participated in the 1901 Wimbledon Championships in part. In 1905, he reached the second round where he lost to the American William Larned in five sets. The World Championship of Australia and New Zealand, he came before 1907 to the final, but lost it against Horace Rice. In 1913 he again reached the final, was beaten this year Ernest Frederick Parker.

In 1907 he won at the side of Bill Greg the doubles competition of the championships of Australia and New Zealand.
