Action

Harry Keach, a senior construction worker loses his job because he has reaction and concentration difficulties due to illness. His son Howard lives with him. Both suffer from the death of the mother / wife, which dates back two years. Howard, early 20s, lives from day to day, dreams of a career as a writer and, very often surf. During the day he works in a car wash.

Howard became friends again with Katie Wilowski - his ex-girlfriend, who is pregnant by another man. He helps her to bring the baby to the world and comes back together with her.
