Harvard–Yale football rivalry

The meeting of the American football teams of Harvard (Harvard Crimson) and Yale ( Yale Bulldogs ), named in the American College Sports The Game, is a prestigious event with a long history.

So far this game has been played 126 times, the first time in 1875. This usually happens once a year, but the game did not take place in all years. In those 126 games, there were 65 victories for Yale, 53 for Harvard and eight draws.

It is alternately discharged either in the Yale Bowl and Harvard Stadium. Usually it's final point of the football season and is played in November.

The game and its traditions are similar to the famous Boat Race, the once a year in London held rowing race between the Universities of Oxford and Cambridge.
