Havran is a town and a district of the Turkish province of Balıkesir. The city is located about 70 kilometers west of the provincial capital of Balıkesir.

The district is located in the west of the province. It is bordered on the northeast by Balya, to the southeast by Ivrindi, on the southwest by Burhaniye, to the west and Edremit on the north by the province of Çanakkale. The county town is on the road D-230 from Edremit to Balıkesir. By Havran river of the same Havran, which flows about 14 miles to the west in the Gulf of Edremit flows. To the west of the county are the foothills of the Kaz Dagi, the ancient Ida Mountains in the southeast of Kocadag.
