Heilbronner Hohenloher Haller Nahverkehr

The Heilbronner Hohenlohe Haller transport ( HNV, also H3NV ) is a transport system on the territory of the independent city of Heilbronn, the district of Heilbronn and the Hohenlohe district. Furthermore, there are areas of overlap in the tariff counties Schwäbisch Hall, Main-Tauber, Rhein- Neckar, Ludwigsburg and in the Neckar- Odenwald-Kreis.

Composite history

The HNV established on 1 January 1997 as Heilbronner transport system for the city and the district of Heilbronn with the goal of a uniform tariff for rail, bus and light rail to be introduced. The HNV are preceded by local collective communities of different transport companies (eg reins / RBS / train in Weinsberg Valley ). Agreed transition zones with neighboring networks NVH, VRN, KVV and VVS were gradually implemented, the most significant is the area of overlap with the VRN for cross-border traffic to Sinsheim, Mosbach and Osterburken.

The composite structure

On 1 April 2005 the new HNV emerged with the core area of the old Heilbronner Transport Association ( HNV ) and the transport Hohenlohe district included parts of KreisVerkehr Schwäbisch Hall. To market the abbreviation H3NV is used primarily on the part of the new partner. There are 20 transport companies involved in the composite, the 160 bus and subway lines in use HNV. 2007, approximately 45.9 million people were transported. The fare revenue in 2006 amounted to € 32.3 million. Partner of Verbund GmbH are the county-level city of Heilbronn and all counties, over which the tariff covers (except the district of Main -Tauber ). Chairman is District Helmut Jahn ( Hohenlohe ).

Since 26 September 1999, the composite area is accessible by a tram of the AVG. They first drove coming from Karlsruhe via Epping to Heilbronn Main Station. As of July 2001, she crossed the Heilbronn city center and has been extended to 10 December 2005 and to Öhringen. Therefore, the collective integration of Hohenlohe in the HNV was necessary. Both measures led to the relation Heilbronn- Öhringen to a passenger increase. In the coming years is to be built by establishing additional lines an independent rail network Heilbronn.

The area of the traffic group is adjacent to the integrated transport system Rhein- Neckar, in the Transport Community Main-Tauber is integrated on the traffic group KreisVerkehr Schwäbisch Hall, the Transport and Tariff Association Stuttgart and Karlsruhe Transport Association.

A future gradual adjustment of tariffs of HNV and roundabout Schwäbisch Hall will be followed by a full integration of the roundabout Schwäbisch Hall.

The Hohenlohe district, the city of Heilbronn and the district of Heilbronn each hold 32.5 % of the share capital of € 158,500. The Neckar - Odenwald-Kreis and Rhein- Neckar-Kreis each hold 0.5 % of the share capital of the district of Schwäbisch Hall 1.5%.
