Hengstler GmbH is a medium-sized company in Aldingen, which specializes in the production of industrial counting and control components. The subsidiary of Danaher Corporation is active in the field of electrical engineering.

History

The watchmaker master Johannes Hengstler started in 1846 in the Swabian Aldingen, with the mass production of gongs. From 1912 Hengstler started the production of Präzionsdrehteilen. In 1926, the company Efunda that made ​​Zählapparate was acquired by Hengstler. Hengstler survived both the economic crisis at the end of the 1920s as well as a partial disassembly of the end of World War II. In 1954 the company built 100 company housing, so as to gain new employees. The purchase of a plastic injection molding machine for the production of our own plastic parts contributed to the continued economic success. 1962 saw the establishment of the first foreign subsidiary, the " Hengstler Great Britain" in the UK. In 1995 the company was taken over by the Hengstler U.S. Group Danaher Corporation and has since served customers such as Bosch, Festo, IBM and Siemens.

Since 2002 located in the building of the company founder, a museum, which also includes the former production of Hengstler.

Products

Hengstler offers in the field of process control and environmental technology, among other things, the application projects. The products include, in particular, encoders, relays, counters, tachometers, position indicators, proximity switches, printers and cutters. The incremental offered can be used for example for displacement measurement in production lines, milling and robots while the absolute value encoders permit accurate positioning.
