Henki Kolstad

Henrik Johan Ludvig " Henki » Kolstad ( born February 3, 1915 in Kristiania, † July 14, 2008 in Oslo) was a Norwegian actor and director. He was known for several generations in Norway for all-round acting in film and theater. Especially in the age of television, he reached attention, so among other things, for the role as " Skomaker Andersen " in the Christmas series ( juleserien ) Skomakergata 1979, and for his appearances at three Norwegian Olsen Gang films ( remake ) in the role of Kongen (king) and Champion Hansen.

Career

Theater

Kolstad debuted in 1928 as a 13 -year-old theater actor in Nationaltheatret in the play 18 år (18 years), and had his adult debut, " voksendebut » 1936 Centralteatret. Family

Henki Kolstad family lived in Oslo. He married on July 8, 1938 his wife Else Kolstad and they were married 76 years together. Together they had a son, the film director Morten Kolstad and two daughters. Henki Kolstad was the older brother of actor and singer Lasse Kolstad. He was the son of Andreas Kolstad (1883-1959) and Johanne ( 1884-1966 ). Kolstad, died on Monday, 14 July 2008 at Diakonhjemmet Hospital in Oslo, aged 93 years.

Honors and Awards

In 2003 Ingerid North beach and Pål Bang -Hansen turned by the NRC, a documentary about Henki Kolstad, entitled: " Henki på movie » ( Henki in the film), which was shown in July 2003 at the Norwegian television for the first time.
