Henrique Hilário

Hilário (2010)

Henrique Meireles Alves Sampaio Hilário ( born October 21, 1975 in São Pedro da Cova ), called Hilário, is a Portuguese football goalkeeper, who was last at Chelsea in the English Premier League under contract.

Although he was actually picked up just as the number 3 at the Champions League favorites from London, as he has a good relationship with his coach Jose Mourinho, he stood in the meantime as the number one between the posts. This he owes a game of Chelsea in the Premier League against Reading FC on 14 October 2006, when first -choice goalkeeper Petr Čech drew upon a near-fatal skull fracture at the base by two violent clashes and even then substitute goalkeeper Carlo Cudicini swallowed his tongue. In his short time as showing he was praised by many sides. Against Sheffield United he held, for example, a major penalty, which would have meant the residue for Chelsea.
