Origin and family

He was the eldest son of Prince Johann I. At first he ruled jointly with his brother Albrecht I. He died in 1265 but already order 1259 he married Anastasia. ( * Ca 1245, † March 15, 1317 ), daughter of Duke Barnim I. of Pomerania.

Life

In 1266 he placed himself under the Jews in Wismar against protection money as serfs.
