Herlev Municipality
Herlev Kommune is a Danish municipality in the Capital Region.
The Copenhagen suburb of Herlev located between the Gladsaxe municipality in the east and the Ballerup municipality in the west. With an area of 12.10 km ² which is Herlev municipality in terms of area, the third smallest municipality in Denmark with 26 958 inhabitants - after Vallensbæk commune with 9.50 km ². The administrative headquarters Herlev itself is part of the Capital Region Hovedstadsområdet, but not the rural portions of the municipality. But live outside the closed settlement area only 68 of the 26 958 inhabitants of the municipality (as of 1 January 2013)
