Herman III, Lord of Lippe

Hermann III. zur Lippe ( * ca 1233; † October 3, 1274 ) was from 1265 to 1274 Mr. Lippe.

Life

Hermann III. the lip was about 1233, the second child of Bernhard III. born at the lip and the Countess Sofie van Cuijck - Amsberg.

After the death of his father, there was between the brothers Hermann III. and Bernhard IV a dispute over inheritance, so that the rule was divided to the lip: Hermann III. received Lippstadt and Rheda, his brother Bernhard IV received horn and the eastern part of the Lippe region.
