Hexe

Witch was a car brand under which the steam engines and marine engine manufacturer Achenbach & Co. 1905-1907 Automobile sales in Hamburg from our own production, which were built under license by the Belgian Nagant. Achenbach had occurred in 1902 as an importer of American Locomobile automobiles.

First, a two-cylinder model 9/10 PS and two four-cylinder models (14/ 16 hp and 20/ 24 hp ) were offered. From 1906 accounted for the two smaller models and the four-cylinder models were called 18/20 hp 24/ 30 hp and 40/ 45 hp. Then there was the six-cylinder model 30/35 hp. All of the cars to the largest model were fitted with propeller shafts. The engines that were running down to the six-cylinder engines as a block with two cylinders cast together, had a metal cover below, which protected them from road debris and damage. The six-cylinder was individually cast cylinders and a crankcase made ​​of light metal. The four-cylinder model had a four-speed gearbox, while the smaller versions had to settle for three courses.

1908 gave Achenbach on the production of our own cars and imported cars instead Nagant to Germany.

All vehicles were available as Double Phaeton, Landaulet or sedan.
