Hillsborough Castle

Hillsborough Castle (German Schloss Hillsborough ) is the official residence of Queen Elizabeth II of Great Britain and Northern Ireland in Northern Ireland. It is inhabited by the British royal family during visits to Northern Ireland.

The castle is located in the Northern Ireland County Down, west of Belfast.

Since the twenties of the last century Hillsborough Castle has the status of an official residence of the British monarch.
