Hirschlanden transmitter
The transmitter Hirschlanden is a disused medium-wave transmitter for radio. It is located about two kilometers south of the hamlet Ditzinger Hirschlanden (Baden- Württemberg).
History
The antenna carrier is since 1963 a 40 -meter-high against the earth insulated guyed lattice steel mast with a square cross-section are used. This served until March 7, 2014 at 14:45 clock to emit the AFN program on the frequency 1143 kHz ( owned by the German Telekom AG). The cross-shaped roof on top of capacity was installed in 2001 to extend the transmission tower for the lower frequency of the transmitter Mega Radio electrically. From 16 January 2002 to 4 April 2003, the program of mega radio was irradiated at 738 kHz of this transmission tower. From 15 August 2005 until the setting of the station in 2008, the program of TruckRadio was radiated at that frequency on this mast.
