Hjalmar Andersson

Hjalmar Andersson ( Svensk Hjalmar " Insjön " Andersson Zakeus; born July 13, 1889 in Ljusnarsberg; † November 2, 1971 in Insjön ) was a Swedish long-distance runner.

With cross over the 1912 Olympic Games in Stockholm, he won silver in the individual standings behind the Finn Hannes Kolehmainen and ahead of his compatriot John Eke and gold in the team competition along with Eke and the fifth-placed Josef Ternström.

From 1918 to 1920 Andersson was three consecutive times Swedish champion in cross-country running.
