Hofstetten - Grunau is a market town with 2593 inhabitants (as of 1 January 2013 ) in the district of Sankt Pölten- Land in Lower Austria.

Geography

Hofstetten - Grunau is about 15 km southwest of St. Pölten in the Valley of Pielach Mostviertel in Lower Austria. The lowest elevation in the municipal area is 309 m above sea level. History

In ancient times, the area was part of the province of Noricum.
