Höganäs Municipality

Höganäs is a municipality (in Swedish kommun ) in the southern Swedish province of Skåne County and the historical province Scania. The main town of the municipality is Höganäs.

In the territory of the municipality lies the nature reserve and the Kullen Peninsula, one of the reasons for the high tourist traffic in this region.

Attractions

The Nature Reserve of the artist Lars Vilks Kullaberg has erected several works of art, the most famous of which Nimis. Then he got into trouble with the local building department, because he would need a building permit for these objects it deems to. Finally he cried in protest at the site of the works of art his own state Ladonien.
