Holland Park tube station

Holland Park is an underground station of the London Underground in the urban district of the Royal Borough of Kensington and Chelsea. It is located in the Travelcard Zone 2 to the Holland Park Avenue and is served by trains on the Central Line. In 2011, 3.37 million passengers used the station. It is named after the nearby Holland Park, the name is also used for the quarter.

Was opened the station on July 30, 1900 by the Central London Railway (CLR ), the predecessor of the Central Line. As usual with the CLR, Harry Bell Measures designed the station building. It was a flat roof, as the company was planning the building to another floor for commercial use increase. Due to lack of demand, but this was omitted until today.
