Hong Kong Phooey
Fenn -. Hong Kong Phooey (English Hong Kong Phooey, the German revised Hong Kong Fu ) is an animated series of Hanna- Barbera Studios in 1974 Hong Kong Phooey is a doglike master detective, to which everything fails, in the tradition of superhero parodies like inspector Clouseau and inspector Gadget. He later appeared as a member of the Scooby Doobies, a superhero troupe with other Hanna- Barbera characters like Captain Caveman or Dynomutt, the wonder dog. He had more appearances in the series Duck Dodgers.
Action
He works as a janitor Fenn in a police station; However, if worst comes to worst, he transforms into the hero Karate Hong Kong Phooey. His assistant here is the hangover spot, which has to save him from the closet always, in which he has himself trapped in his transformation. With his reference book (Hong Kong Book) and the Phooey mobile, similar to the vehicle of Fred Flintstone, but can also transform, it goes on Manhunt.

The series was produced in 1974 to 1976 by the Hanna -Barbera studios. Directed by Charles A. Nichols. The ABC beamed the series of 7 September in 1974 to 4 September 1976 in the United States. The consequences appeared on DVD.
The first broadcast took place in Germany from 22 April 1976 ZDF. There were for ZDF initially only 13 of the 16 episodes translated into German. Only in 1988 sent the private channel SAT 1, the remaining three episodes in German premiere.
