Horst Schnellhardt

Kurt Oswald Horst Schnellhardt ( born May 12, 1946 in Rüdigershagen ) is a German politician ( CDU). He is a member of the European Parliament since 1994.

Life and career

After graduation Quick Hardt holds a degree in veterinary medicine and was thereafter from 1970 to 1990 worked as a veterinarian in Halberstadt. 1984 he obtained his PhD ( thesis A) for Dr. med. at the University of Leipzig with the thesis " Influence of relaxation with Sukzinylcholinchlorid before slaughter on muscle metabolism and meat quality in pigs ." In 1990 he became a district veterinarian of the district of Halberstadt and took over in May 1990 to head the district veterinary office.
