Hounslow West tube station

Hounslow West is an aboveground station London Underground in the London Borough of Hounslow. It is located in the Travelcard Zone 5 on the Bath Road. In the year 2011 there were 3.18 million passengers these from the Piccadilly Line station.

History

The opening of the station Hounslow Barracks on 21 July 1884, when the Metropolitan District Railway (MDR, the predecessor company of the District Line ) Acton Town from a branch line up to this point took into operation.
