How to Destroy Angels (band)

How to Destroy Angels (English for " How to Destroy Angels " ) is an American band, founded in 2010 Trent Reznor ( Nine Inch Nails ), together with his wife Mariqueen Reznor and Atticus Ross Maandig. Ross has already worked at times with Reznor of Nine Inch Nails.

Is named the band after the eponymous single by the band Coil of 1984, has been working with its member Peter Christopherson Trent Reznor on numerous occasions.

History

Once in April 2010, several short videos were released with sound examples, the first song A Drowning of the platform Pitchfork.com was opened to the public free access to listen on May 4, 2010. From 5 May, was the title, which was mixed by Alan Moulder, available as a download single on Amazon.

On May 15, 2010, the first video clip for the song The Space In Between was released also on Pitchfork.com. Since June 1, 2010 are the six songs on the EP as DRM-free MP3s with 320 kbit / s for free download on the band's homepage. Since June 6, there is the EP to buy on CD.

On November 13th 2012 the first EP was released on autonomous EP digitally and on vinyl. On March 1, 2013, the debut album Welcome oblivion, which also hosts a number of songs from An omen EP are followed.
