Howard Alden

Howard Alden ( born October 17, 1958 in Newport Beach, California ) is a jazz guitarist.

Biography

At the age of ten years began to learn guitar Alden and occurred as a teenager in Los Angeles publicly. There he became friends with the trombonist Dan Barrett and worked in 1979 with Red Norvo. In 1982 he then moved together with Barrett to New York City where he played with several jazz greats together, for example, with Dizzy Gillespie, Woody Herman, Bud Freeman, Benny Carter, Clark Terry, Joe Williams, Joe Bushkin, Ruby Braff and flip Phillips. 1999 Alden played the guitar and melody composed for the soundtrack to Sweet and Lowdown under the direction of Woody Allen and published to the 21st century albums regularly, including productions with Barrett, Joe Byrd, Ken Peplowski George Van Eps or.
