Howard Joseph Carroll

Howard Joseph Carroll ( * August 5, 1902 in Pittsburgh, USA, † March 21, 1960 ) was Bishop of Altoona - Johnstown.

Life

Howard Joseph Carroll received on 2 April 1927, the sacrament of Holy Orders.

On December 5, 1957, he was named by Pope Pius XII. Bishop of Altoona - Johnstown. The Apostolic Delegate in the United States, Archbishop Giovanni Cicognani Amleto, donated to him on January 2, 1958, the episcopal ordination; Co-consecrators were the Bishop of Pittsburgh, John Francis Dearden, and the Bishop of Miami, Coleman Francis Carroll.
