Hrant Melkumyan

Hrant Melkumjan (Armenian Հրանտ Մելքումյան, the World Chess Federation FIDE Hrant Melkumyan; born April 30, 1989 in Yerevan ) is an Armenian chess Grandmaster.

Chess Career

In 2006 he occupied at the U18 World Cup behind Arik Braun to second place. In 2009 he took a shared first place at the Chigorin Memorial. In 2010 he shared the Dubai Open is also the first place. In 2011 he was European champion in blitz chess.
