Hünfelder SV

The Hünfelder SV is a sports club from the located in the northeast of Fulda Hünfeld. The club was founded on 22 June 1919, the club colors of blue and white. The sports of the association are football, handball, volleyball, basketball, table tennis, athletics and gymnastics.

Football

After descending from the Oberliga Hessen 2004, the club failed often and short of the ascent, even twice in the relegation. After five years in the national league Hessen -Nord the club in 2008 was promoted to the newly formed Football League Hesse. Play their home games in the club from the 4,000 -seat arena end Rhön. 2008/2009 they managed to avoid relegation in the newly formed Football League Hesse.
