Ä°dil Ãœner

Idil Üner ( born August 1, 1971 in Berlin ) is a German -Turkish actress and singer who has also drawn attention to himself as a director of an award-winning short film work.

Life

Uner attended acting school of the University of the Arts in Berlin. Your television and cinema debut was in 1994 in the crime scene and in Rudolf Thome's movie The Secret. Above all, through their work with German -Turkish directors like Fatih Akın and Thomas Arslan they brought it to prominence, in particular by leading roles in Dealer ( 1999) and in July ( 2000).

As a director turned Üner the 2001 short film The Lovers from the hotel by Osman. The 15-minute strip to which she also wrote the book, was awarded the German Short Film Award and was awarded the Special Jury Prize at the Spanish Huesca Film Festival. The film was nominated as " Best Short Film " at the Max Ophüls Festival.

The actress also staged in the Turkish theater Tiyatrom. As a singer she can be heard in several films, extensively, for example, in 2004 against the wall.
