Ignat Zemchenko

Ignat Sergeyevich Semchenko (Russian Игнат Сергеевич Земченко; born April 24, 1992, Angarsk ) is a Russian ice hockey player who stands at Severstal Cherepovets since 2009 in the Kontinental Hockey League contract.

Career

Ignat Semchenko began his career as a hockey player in the junior department of the PHK Krylia Sovetov Moscow, where he was active until 2009. He was then selected in the KHL Junior Draft 2009 in the first round as a whole tenth of Severstal Cherepovets players. For the professional team of Severstal he gave in the 2009/10 season his debut in the Continental Hockey League. However, in this he only came to a bet and spent the entire rest of the season at the junior team Almas Cherepovets in the multinational junior league Molodjoschnaja Chokkeinaja league. In the following two years he played in parallel for Severstal in the KHL and Almas in the MHL. In the season 2010/11 he participated in the All-Star Game part of the MHL.
