Igor Cukrov

Igor Cukrov ( born June 6, 1984 in Šibenik, SR Croatia, SFR Yugoslavia) is a Croatian singer and musician.

Private life

Cukrov the moment is in a relationship with the Montenegrin participant Nina Petković of Operacija Trijumpf. He admires claims to Andrea Bocelli and George Michael. The study of philosophy and theology, he has been interrupted in order to pursue his music career and his forthcoming album.

Career

Cukrov performed at the Split Festival, where he received an award as the best debut artist. In addition, he gained experience as a cappella Campi singers as a tenor.

A wider audience was Cukrov with participating in the talent show Operacija Trijumf ( German: Operation Triumph ) are known which can be compared with the world-renowned Fame Academy. Operacija Trijumf was doing a project in which all the countries of the former Yugoslavia (except Slovenia) participated. The singer was also placed in the top ten there.

Together with Andrea Susnjara Igor Cukrov prevailed at the Dora 2009 and thus represented Croatia at the Euro Vision Song Contest 2009 in Moscow, entitled Lijepa Tena, where both could reach the 18th place in the final.

In June 2009 Cukrov presented at the Split Festival 2009 with Mjesečar ( German: Sleepwalkers ) is a new single. In addition, he confirmed in an interview that he would spend the summer in the studio to work on his debut album.
