Igor Skorokhodov

Igor Mikhailovich Skorochodow (Russian Игорь Михайлович Скороходов; born May 4, 1986 in the Russian SFSR ) is a Russian ice hockey player who is under contract with HK Yugra Khanty-Mansiysk in the Kontinental Hockey League since 2008.

Career

Igor Skorochodow began his career as a hockey player in the junior division of Severstal Cherepovets, for the first team, he made his debut in the Russian Super League in season 2003/ 04. After he started the following season in Cherepovets, he finished the 2004/05 season at HC Traktor Chelyabinsk in the Wysschaja League, the second Russian league. From 2005 to 2007 he played the attacker ever long for a Chelyabinsk League rivals, the second division HK Lipetsk and Belgorod HK. In the season 2006/ 07 he joined Vityaz Chekhov in the Super League, but was transferred in the course of the season to his former club HK Belgorod from the Wysschaja league.

In the summer of 2008 Skorochodow signed with HK Yugra Khanty-Mansiysk from the Wysschaja League, with whom he each second division champion in the next two years and in 2010 also rose in the Continental Hockey League.
