Igor Magogin

Igor Alexandrovich Magogin (Russian Игорь Александрович Магогин; born September 16, 1981 in Sverdlovsk, Russian SFSR ) is a Russian ice hockey player who is under contract with HK Yugra Khanty-Mansiysk in the Kontinental Hockey League since June 2011.

Career

Igor Magogin began his career as a hockey player with Gasowik Tyumen, for the first team to 2004 he was active from 2000 in Wysschaja League, the second Russian league. Then the attacker spent three years with its domestic rivals Sputnik Nizhny Tagil. From 2007 to 2009 he played in his hometown for Awtomobilist Yekaterinburg in the Wysschaja league.

Had been taken since Awtomobilist for season 2009/10 the year before, founded Continental Hockey League, Magogin stands for the club in the KHL on the ice. In addition, the 2010/11 season he came in parallel with 12 appearances for his former club Sputnik Nizhny Tagil in the new second division, the Wysschaja Hockey League.

In June 2011 he transferred within the KHL to HK Yugra Khanty-Mansiysk.
