Ilbono

Ilbono is an Italian municipality ( comune ) with 2175 inhabitants ( 31 December 2012) in the province of Ogliastra Sardinia. The municipality is situated approximately 10 km west-southwest of Tortoli on Foddeddu.

History

In the municipality there are still Nuraghenreste.

Traffic

Passing through the municipality, the Strada Statale 198 di Seui e Lanusei. At the eastern edge of the community Strada Statale 125 Orientale Sarda runs from Cagliari coming towards Palau. Ilbono has a station on the narrow gauge railway line Manda -Arbatax, which is served in the summer months from Trenino Verde.
